You'll work in a broad capacity, supporting a caseload of client with their accounting needs including: accounts, audit, tax, payroll and bookkeeping. The majority of clients are owner managed businesses from a wide range of industries, and in this role you'll not only handle a varied workload but you'll receive support to finish your ACCA qualification. My client is a well respected Accounting Practice looking to grow their team with a part qualified trainee. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of businesses, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, while gaining valuable experience across payroll, VAT, bookkeeping, and general accounts production. As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless client experience. Your responsibilities will include processing payrolls, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations, as well as assisting with self-assessment tax returns and general accounts work. You’ll work closely with our Client Portfolio Managers, keeping them updated on client progress while maintaining accurate records and identifying opportunities for business growth.
