Payroll Specialist
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working for a fantastic business in Leeds as they look to recruit a Payroll Specialist into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently manage the end-to-end payroll process in accordance with the payroll timetable, using the in-house payroll system (Miracle and Sage50)Liaise with international payroll partners to facilitate accurate payroll processing where applicableProcess payroll changes including new joiners, leavers, holiday pay, overtime, absence, and maternityEnsure full compliance with HMRC legislation, including PAYE reporting and statutory obligationsAdminister employee benefits such as pensions, company vehicles, and life insuranceInvestigate and reconcile all payroll discrepanciesPrepare month-end payroll reports for the Accounts team to support financial reconciliationProduce statutory year-end documents such as P60s and P11DsMaintain and regularly update payroll process documentationServe as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries across the companyProvide administrative support to the Payroll and HR teamsAudit the payroll and HR systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of data Person Specification: Experience in processing payroll (PAYE) end-to-endProficiency in using payroll systemsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExceptional attention to detail and organisational capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage confidential information with discretion If this looks like a role of interest then please get in touch ASAP.
