What you’ll be doing: As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions while maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. - from GLP-1 weight loss treatments to dermatology, men’s health, and more - supporting each patient’s journey with care and accuracy. Working closely with our Dispensing and packing teams, you’ll help ensure medications are processed with precision and dispatched rapidly - meeting our customer promise to patients of safe, high-quality care, delivered in record time. Work onsite at our Leamington Spa warehouse, ensuring the safe and compliant dispensing of medications.Use our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.Prepare medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.Counsel patients by providing general advice on managing side effects, usage instructions, and other pharmaceutical guidance via email or telephone.Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalate issues as needed.Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements. What you’ll bring: GPhC registration.6+ months of pharmacy experience.Experience working in a fast-paced dispensing environment.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset Why work with us? Amaré Health are currently looking for a number of Pharmacist to work in a hospital setting. Minimum of 1 years experience as a clinical pharmacist. Previous ward experience is a bonus. Broad experience of working in pharmacy including working within a hospital pharmacy department. Experience of working with and influencing staff from other healthcare professions Must be GPHC registered Good oral & written communication skills. Demonstrates expert clinical knowledge with respect to the use of drugs. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload. Able to use initiative to problem solve. Good interpersonal skills. Good supervision skills Meets set targets Good organisational skills and time management. Understanding of national and local priorities. Knowledge and implementation of clinical governance. Medicines information skills Ability to use pharmacy computer systems and common Microsoft packages. Ability to perform tasks required of a pharmacist (clinical screening, dispensing, checking, working with prescribers and patients).
