Main Duties and Responsibilities: Develop your ideas from concept to production.Sketch ideas and develop concepts.Create models and prototypes.Conduct market research, visit clients, and gather feedback.Use all manufacturing processes.View and review tooling trials with potential for overseas travel.Quality test new products.Work individually and as part of a wider team to establish your products across the globe. This Product Design Teacher position can be part time (0.8/4 days) or full time. The school need a Product Design Teacher for the rest of the school year, up to Friday the 18th of July, in the first instance. Teaching for this Product Design Teacher post will be for KS3, KS4 and KS5 classes. Experience of teaching Food Technology and Textiles would be beneficial when being considered for this Product Design Teacher role but is not essential. The rates of pay this Product Design Teacher position will be between £160 to £275 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
