They would be responsible for product food safety as well as quality, systems, processes, procedures & GMP to ensure they comply with the set internal and customer requirements and specification, including auditing and closure of non-conformances.  What you get from us Base salary of £27,973 per annumOvertime availableEmployer matched pension up to 5%Health cash plan   Flexible benefits including; Corporate gym discounts, shopping discounts, enhanced maternity & paternity policy and many moreAccess to online GP & life assurance    Key responsibilities Ensure that the product quality & safety standards are always maintained and that the product that is manufactured meets the customer’s specification and is legally compliant in all aspectsEnsure that our factories are always audit ready and the strict GMP standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing siteConduct scheduled auditing of safety, legality and GMP standards of the siteCarry out regular documented checks on all areas and lines of manufacture and packing, including paperwork checks to ensure correct completionCarry out validation and verification of processes according to scheduleMonitor lines during production and report any issues in relation to quality or product safetyCarry out sampling, checks, tests, swabbing and other conformance requirements according to required schedules, including logging of samples into laboratory systemConduct documented investigations and close out non-conformances, using root cause analysisPrepare, audit and file paperwork for lines & mixing roomSet up and conduct daily quality assessments, including feedback and trending for operational teamsControl & documentation of on hold and other non-conforming products Experience required QA or similar experience working within the food industry, ideally experience in short shelf-life productsFood safety Level 2HACCPBasic understanding of MicrobiologyKnowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Food Safety complianceWorking knowledge of Auditing techniquesComputer literate, good oral and written communication skills.
