Regulatory Reporting Analyst
What’s the role? Our client is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and enhancing regulatory reporting processes within their Finance division. The team is responsible for calculating and reporting key prudential metrics (capital, liquidity, leverage, large exposure) to the PRA, as well as submitting statistical reports to the Bank of England and/or FCA/PRA. You’ll also contribute to the Pillar 3 annual document and manage regulatory changes, such as Basel 3.1, while ensuring compliance with both external and internal requirements. This role offers variety and impact, with opportunities to work across multiple reports and actively drive process improvements to strengthen the wider team’s capabilities. Tell me more Start: ASAPDuration: 6 Months with potential to go permanent Location: Hybrid (home/London)Rate: up to £500 per day DOE Your day-to-day activities will include Lead reporting for a number of regulatory returns. Depending on experience/preference this will be either liquidity or capital focussed.Support the analysis for Basel 3.1 data and calculator gapsSupport ongoing process automation and process efficiency across the team, including transition to a new calculation toolSupport internal business change and implementation for regulatory reportingEngage with stakeholders to optimise information provided to the teamPresent MI to senior management in relation to report review and approvalSupport Pillar 3 annual documentSupport wider regulatory related activity, for example ICAAP and ILAAP as required What knowledge, skills & experience we need Prudential reporting background (minimum 5 years)Proven ability to redesign existing excel solutions to simplify/automateStrong communication - written via monthly MI and verbalGood analytics capability / data literateUnderstanding of financial control environments and control design.
