What We're Looking For: A degree in a relevant subject, accompanied by a qualification in Occupational Safety and Health.A current member of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) with Chartered or Graduate membership (CertIOSH).Extensive experience in health and safety management, ideally within a large, complex, and diverse organization.Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (2015), and experience in managing construction-related health and safety matters.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve health and safety goals.Experience of producing detailed reports and presentations related to health and safety performance.A strong ability to work well within a team and contribute to continuous improvement in health and safety standards. Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Experience advising on health and safety within construction, maintenance, or facilities management.Chartered Membership (CMIOSH) of IOSH is highly desirable. Working Environment: Based on campus with occasional visits to construction sites and other areas within the University. Flexible and hybrid working options available, with an expectation to be on campus for a minimum of 4 days per week.
