Technical Administrator
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Middlesbrough, seeking a proactive Technical Administrator to support their operations and MRP system. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong admin experience—ideally in an engineering environment—looking to build a long-term career with a growing business. Responsibilities: Create Bills of Material from technical drawings and parts listsGenerate Sales Order numbers for stock contractsCreate pick lists for Stores and Manufacturing departmentsAdvise the Purchasing team on contract part requirementsClose down works orders for items ready for deliveryMaintain the internal parts databaseAssist and provide cover for the MRP System AdministratorCarry out general administrative tasks within the operations departmentSupport various duties within an engineering office setting What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in an administrative or technical admin role (engineering background preferred)Strong computer skills and confidence working with data systems and Microsoft OfficeOrganised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesFamiliarity with MRP systems and bills of materials is highly desirable Benefits: 25 days holiday + 8 statutory daysLife protection (4x salary) upon joining the pension scheme5% employer pension contribution (5% employee)Free on-site parkingCompany eventsEmployee discountsSick payReferral programme Other information: MiddlesbroughPermanent, Full-Time (Office-Based)Competitive salary, dependent on experienceMonday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-1:30pm
