Amazon
What Amazon is: Founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994, Amazon is an American technology company that employs around 1.3 million people worldwide.
What Amazon does: The world’s largest online retailer, Amazon sells directly to consumers and acts as a marketplace for other sellers. Amazon also offers digital streaming through its Amazon Prime Video and artificial intelligence with Alexa.

Why you should work for Amazon: Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year for Amazon. In the UK it’s looking to hire 20,000 temps to cover the Christmas season.
Hermes
What Hermes is: The largest delivery service company in the UK offering seven-day delivery.
What Hermes does: Delivering parcels to customers across the UK and internationally, Hermes is the delivery partner for some of the biggest retail names, such as ASOS and Next. It also partners with local convenience stores, known as Parcel Shops, where customers can send and receive parcels.
What roles are on offer: Self Employed Courier
Why you should work for Hermes: Unsurprisingly, there are quite a lot of parcels to deliver over Christmas. You don’t need any experience to work as a Hermes delivery driver, but you do need a driving licence. You’ll have the option of working in an area you know, and you’ll be able to plan your working hours to fit around your other commitments.

What Pandora is: A designer, manufacturer and seller of contemporary jewellery.
What Pandora does: Established in 1982, Pandora is a Danish jewellery brand that designs modern jewellery, including rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants and charms, which are sold in over 100 countries.
