Working at Nandos UK & Ireland

What we do

It all started in 1987, in a suburb of Johannesburg called Rosettenville. A man named Fernando Duarte invited Robbie Brozin to a humble eatery to try some mouth watering PERi-PERi chicken. The rest, as they say, is history. Five years later, Nando’s landed in the UK. When it did, we made a decision: to put as much passion into our people, as we do our chicken. That’s because, as extraordinary as it may sound, chicken alone doesn’t make us who we are. It’s the people that make the chicken.

Our purpose - to run restaurants brilliantly and to create lasting happiness for our Nandocas, customers, communities, suppliers and founders.

Who you'll work with

Since the very beginning, our culture has been built from our five values – Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity, and most of all Family. They are the five things we live and breathe every day.

It really comes down to the fact that we genuinely care for one another. We want everyone in our family to be happy and succeed, so we keep an eye out for each other, inspire each other and celebrate with each other.

Our informal approach to work also means we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and that everyone can be true to themselves.
