Our Client, a family run Care Company, who look after more than 1,500 residents across Norfolk and Suffolk, are recruiting for a CARE HOME MANAGER. The Location at this stage is known as Norwich, Norfolk, as this is to be a brand new home. Applications are being taken up until 08.08.2024 As a Care Home Manager you will ideally have a Current Registered NMC Pin, although this is not essential. But you will have had previous care home management experience within the UK. Within this role, you will oversea the day to day operations of the home. You will need to be registered with the Care Quality Commission as the Registered Manager. Which in turn requires you to be familiar with all relevant legislation and regulations. You are responsible for ensuring that the home &amp; staff within the home provide the highest quality of care and standards daily, whilst also hitting the financial targets &amp; Maintaining full occupancy of the home.. Key Duties - Providing Direction &amp; Leadership to the care home's staffing team, whilst promoting a culture of kindness, compassion &amp; empathy. - Being able to recruit, train, motivate, &amp; retain a fully skilled team of care professionals, ensuring personal centred care is delivered. - Ensuring the home, maintains and meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by CQC, whilst maintaining excellent standards of care and support. - Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs managed effectively - You will be required to develop &amp; Implement a marketing plan to maintain full occupancy &amp; promote the home's services to potential residents &amp; their families, stakeholders. - You will need Build &amp; Maintain Strong positive relationships, with staff, residents, their families &amp; Stake holders &amp; be able to deal with effectively any needs or concerns raised. - You will have full responsibility to oversee all records to ensure that the home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely &amp; efficient manner. - You will be required to Monitor &amp; Evaluate the home's performance, identifying any areas for improvement, alongside implementing changes are required. - You must be confident to manage and mitigate risks effectively, to ensure that the home maintains a safe and secure environment for all Your Skills - YOU MUST have previous experience managing a nursing / residential home - YOU WILL have a strong working knowledge of CQC standards, with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings - YOU WILL have Excellent Communications skills,, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal &amp; external professionals, families &amp; visitors. - YOU MUST have a proven track record of marketing &amp; Business skills within the private care sector. - YOU SHOULD have a passion for developing hight levels of person-centred care. Our client based in a beautiful old market town near to Blakeney, Stiffkey, in an historic market town of Holt are seeking an experienced Head House Keeper, they are offering a great rate of 17.50ph for the role. The home is a 66 bedded home, all with ensuite, they are bright and contemporary in their decoration. The Company is a family run business where across the business they care for over 1,500 residents across their sites. You will be reporting directly to the Nurse in Charge / Deputy Home Manager &amp; Home Manager. The role is for day and night shifts. The client is seeking:- - Someone with strong communication - Someone to take initiative and lead the floor. - A Passionate Support Worker / Carer who is wanting to make a difference to those you care for and to uphold the high standards of care already given in this home. - Someone who is empathetic and has a caring nature Working with this client you will be well looked after as they believe in upskilling their staff and offer many different training courses. There is opportunity to be promoted from within the home.
