Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Project Manager on behalf of Luton Borough Council. Main purpose of position: The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring relevant programmes and projects deliver, maintain their business focus, deliver benefits identified and that risk is appropriately mitigated and managed. One of the most important roles of the Project Manager is the engagement with the service stakeholders in the process. The Project Manager will lead and manage this relationship to ensure a successful and embedded project outcome. You will be responsible to: Develop, establish, plan, co-ordinate and manage multiple projects to time, budget and high quality to enable the successful delivery of the Transformation Programme. Lead and manage multiple and complex day to day operational and tactical aspects of a range of transformations projects, take the appropriate action and make timely decisions, maintaining a focus on delivery of identified outcomes, value for money and efficiency savings. Develop and implement a detailed project plan and produce all relevant documentation including, but not limited to, Project Scopes &amp; Charters, Service Specifications, Project Plans, Task Summaries, Risk Registers, Issue Logs, Consultation &amp; Implementation Plans, Integrated Impact Assessments and Progress &amp; Status Reports. Engage, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all relevant colleagues and key stakeholders across the Council and with relevant partners to ensure a co-ordinated service and cross cutting approach to project delivery. Ensure all stakeholders remain committed to the programme and projects throughout its course and that disputed issues are escalated appropriately to bring resolution. Produce and present project and programme reports for DMT, CLMT, Joint Board, Policy Group and the Council's Executive and Scrutiny Committees. Support and develop the training programme for all staff involved in the implementation of transformation projects across the council. Project Manager

Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer on behalf of Luton Borough Council. Main purpose of position: This role sits within the uniformed Neighbourhood Enforcement Team. The purpose of this role is to strengthen and improve local neighbourhoods by providing a visible and effective front line response seven days a week to a range of issues including business regulation, environmental crimes and anti social behaviour. The post holder will deliver a variety of regulatory interventions and solutions through the provision and application of enforcement skills using their knowledge and expertise. You will be responsible to: ·To be responsible as directed to patrol the borough and hotspot locations alone or as part of a team both mobile (utilising a variety of vehicles or pedal cycles) and on foot to carry out effective enforcement activities. Carry out pro-active inspections, as tasked, in relation to a variety of business regulatory matter. Participate in planned operations under the direction of the Neighbourhood Delivery management team. ·Investigate reports of a range of regulatory matters against businesses and individuals including environmental crimes and reports of anti social behaviour including (but not exclusively) illegal dumping, littering, dog fouling, begging, street drinking and activities contrary to legislation enforced/administered by the Authority taking appropriate action, which will include: investigation, seizure, removal and enforcement action. ·To provide the role of a Uniformed Enforcement Officer and deliver to the standards required by a relevant accreditation body. This includes the use of formal legal powers of enforcement and intervention as directed by the accreditation body. ·Provide a response to members of the public in distress, monitor and report any suspicious incidents or acts which are reasonably suspected of being criminal, anti social, drug related or cause any detriment to quality of life. Locate any vulnerable and insecure properties, making effort to secure and report to relevant agencies. Provide assistance to investigations by internal and external partners. ·To undertake such other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the grading and nature of the post. Neighbourhood Enforcement Officer

Role: Reablement Support Worker Team: Adult Social Care Grade: L3 Shifts Various Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Reablement support worker on behalf of Luton Borough Council within their population wellbeing department. About the Role To work in a multi-disciplinary reablement team. Providing a responsive seven day per week customer led service to promote, achieve and maintain individual's ability to remain living independently in the community. As a support worker , you will be responsible to: Current,valid driving licence and willingness to use own vehicle for business on a daily basis travelling across the Borough. Undertake through individual care plans, personal, practical and rehabilitative duties to maximise individuals independence and wellbeing. Carry out therapeutic activity and skills practice in accordance with the agreed plan to improve and maintain mobility, daily living skills, transfer and building confidence. Encourage and support clients to maintain optimum independence that includes decision making, coping with loss, maintaining social contacts and activities and managing a safe home environment.
