HR Business Partner

Our client is a provider of housing, care, and support services. They are focussed on the delivery of excellent services that promote independence and have a &quot;cando&quot; attitude. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Housing and Support Officer. The role is a temporary position and will be largely patch based in Berkshire and will be working for 35 hours per week. To apply candidates, need to have experience of providing a housing management services to tenants across a geographically region. Please find below a summary of the duties: Provide advice and information to tenants, residents and others on all tenancy matters, welfare benefits and re-housing requests Assisting tenants with support needs to sustain and benefit from their tenancy Work with colleagues to achieve void turnaround targets for repair works and to manage the pre-void and lettings process Assess the needs of applicants for housing or transfer, liaising with LA nominees and others, making recommendations for action within the Lettings Policy Deal with tenancy terminations, new tenancy agreement and associated paperwork, HB / UC application, CORE forms Carry out Estate Inspections, monitoring cleaning, grounds maintenance, repairs and maintenance and other estate / block services Assisting Arrears Officer with outstanding rent arrears, dealing with charge payments, taking early and preventative action to minimise arrears

Housing & Support Officer

We are currently working with a Social Housing Provider in Hertfordshire to assist them in sourcing a Procurement Lead for their organisation. Our client is a highly regarded employer in the area who offer excellent benefits in addition to hybrid working and a fantastic office environment. They are actively seeking an experienced Procurement professional with knowledge of the social housing sector and a strong understanding of the Procurement Act. The succesful applicant will be in charge of the organisations entire Procurement Function and also work alongside the Assurance directorate to ensure that complex insurance approvals are best value. As part of your duties you will be responsible for the supervision of a Procurement Officer and have the ability to communicate with different members of staff up to Director level. Your day to day duties will include: Procure for a comprehensive portfolio of insurance cover at the best price. Analyse claims to identify opportunities, threats, and trends and ensure the business understands and responds to these. Support, educate, and influence the business on early reporting of areas that could give rise to a claim, making changes to insurance policies and claims management and mitigation. With the support of the Procurement Officer maintain Contracts Register - ensuring electronic and or hard copies of contracts are kept filed as appropriate. Take accountability for holding regular business partner meetings with your key stakeholders, embedding a contract management framework and holding colleagues to account. With the support of the Procurement Officer, ensure all general insurance queries and advice on matters of best practice and compliance are dealt with effectively and efficiently. Procurement Assurance & Risk Lead

We are currently recruiting for two positions on behalf of our client, a social landlord with a modern approach who are dedicated to the development of their clients and staff. Both roles will be based out of the organisations North Yorkshire. Neighbourhood Officer Responding to customer enquiries relating to their tenancy such as relationship breakdown, request to exchange property with another tenant and succession queries Respond promptly to reports of ASB within the agreed service standards and take the lead for dealing with ASB issues on the patch Undertake routine estate inspections across the patch with Local Monitors where applicable at an agreed frequency Accurately record all estate inspections and complete any relevant follow-up works on an on-going basis Ensure properties are let promptly and efficiently when they become void through effective communications with the Choice Based Lettings team (CBL) and colleagues in the Property Services To be able to identify the need for additional support including financial support and to provide advice and guidance Work closely with colleagues within the Income Team to ensure that customers understand their responsibility to pay their rent 2x Community Safety Officer Take responsibility for the coordination, control and organisation of an effective and efficient response to ASB in line with policies and procedures Investigate and manage serious ASB harassment, and domestic abuse cases liaising with Police, local authorities and any other relevant agency in order to gather information which will assist in agreeing and implementing a course of action resulting in the cessation of the nuisance/ behaviour Develop and implement a prevention approach which minimises the number and severity of ASB cases Effectively develop partnership working with other agencies, to develop an approach to effectively tackle and resolve ongoing issues caused by ASB Take the appropriate action to tackle ASB breaches of the tenancy agreement and other criminal activity Investigate serious cases of ASB and harassment, this will involve interviewing customers, undertaking investigations, liaising with in-house and external legal advisors Lead in the preparation of cases for legal action, including preparing witness statements, appearing and representing court
