Engineering

FPGA
Our FPGA teams work to design and develop our FPGA requirements and supporting documentation. The team has a vast expanse of knowledge across ModelSim, Quartus Prime, Git Version Control and Matlab along with other tools. Often working within the developmental timing constraints, the teams also provide support through digital design including interacting with hardware, peripherals and processors.

Hardware  
Our hardware teams take responsibility for the design and overall quality of the hardware that we supply. Often leading design reviews they work together to realise the complex system of requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware solutions. Their flexibility is essential as specifications may not be fully defined at the start of development and with liaison with customers for continued feedback and input of requirements is likely throughout development.

Software
Our software teams are proficient in a range of computing languages, including complied languages (e.g. C, C++, C#), web technologies (e.g. Node.js) and scripting languages (e.g. Python). Working on a variety of embedded and on-embedded platforms the teams design, implement and test their software using a wide range of technologies and protocols.

Projects & Programmes  
Our project and programmes teams are responsible for the effective management and accurate reporting and forecasting of both project resources and sales revenue forecasts. They deliver tasked projects on time, to cost, to scope and quality and contribute to delivering a portfolio of projects to time and scope of quality. All members of the team also contribute to driving business transformation improvement and realisations of strategic goals.

Manufacturing & Operations 
Our manufacturing and operations team works together to delivery world-class manufacturing delivery and execution. They work with other areas of the business to ensure that manufacturing considerations are embedded in designs, projects bids and sales campaigns. In addition to this the team also controls the material flow at goods inwards to point of despatch, supporting the coordination of all cycle counts, control group counts and stock audits.

Customer Services
Our customer services team works hard to deliver support to all of our customers with consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. Working together they support projects and activities in an efficient, agile, effective and professional manner.

BD & Sales  
Our BD & Sales team work to define and delivery a 5 year sales order pipeline, aiding in an aligned strategy across Sales, BD, Marketing, Bids and delivery that focuses on collaboration and action across the business. They are double hatted, acting as the face of TRL to customers but also the voice of the customer inside of TRL. They provide professional, credible, timely and valuable services to both customers and colleagues.

Support Functions
Our support functions cover everything from HR to Security, Business Improvement to Finance. The areas support the business by providing key services that are required to make the business tick.
