We started life in 1992 as a farmer-backed dairy trading business. Three years later, we merged with Bodfari, which saw us obtain a large dairy processing facility and our own dedicated farmer supply.

Since then, we’ve acquired two more processing facilities, in Yorkshire and Peterborough, helping us to achieve 8% compounded annual growth to become the largest independent dairy in the UK.

We pride ourselves on supplying dairy ingredients of the highest quality into both blue-chip food manufacturers, smaller independents and foodservice customers

Our butters, creams, milks, cultured, Soft Cheeses and sweetened products are manufactured in our three factories, all of which are Grade AA BRC Global Standard Food Quality 7 accredited.

With flexible deliveries and call-offs we’re able to give our customers exactly what they want when it’s required.

Our New Product Development department can also look into new products or solutions that our customers require to modify their own finished products.

Also, as the largest purchaser of bulk cream in the UK and one of the largest milk buyers, we’re at the forefront of market information and pricing, something we know is key to our customers as they navigate a volatile marketplace.
