We are looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team and take the lead in growing and developing our Private Sector client base. The core focus of this role will be to increase sales activity and grow revenues with your book of accounts. As an Account Manager, you will be the primary commercial and strategic engagement point between Six Degrees and your customer base. The Account Manager builds mutually beneficial relationships with their internal and external stakeholders and builds trust and credibility through every interaction. You will be responsible for orchestrating an extended virtual team of internal resources to deliver the optimal outcome for your customers. This will include strategic engagements such as quarterly business reviews and technical road mapping sessions. The ability to quickly build long lasting report with your customers is critical, as is the ability to identify top level business challenges and map them back to Six Degrees capabilities. Supporting the Pre-Sales team with scoping, performing cloud assessments, creating low-level designs, and owning the solution through the delivery process. In your role as a Public Cloud Consultant, you'll need to handle your workload efficiently to tackle the challenges that come your way, making sure to use your time wisely. You'll also keep an eye on how your tasks are progressing within a project, giving the Project Manager updates on your status while staying mindful of time and budget limits. You should be a highly skilled professional - someone who is well-educated, dedicated, a quick learner, adaptable, and will be able to pick up a new technology with relative ease. You will need strong technical skills with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Server technologies and modern workplace solutions including Microsoft 365 and Intune. Additionally, you must be at ease when interacting with clients. This position is client-facing, and you will be required to engage with external customers confidently and enthusiastically. Public Cloud Consultant

We are recruiting for a Connectivity Solution Architect to join the Solutions Architecture and Pre-sales Team. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering connectivity solutions that meet our customers' needs. We'll expect you to work closely with engineering and product teams to build connectivity into our products and services from the ground up. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies and architectures, as well as the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions. There will be a focus on designing and implementing connectivity solutions, evaluating new connectivity technologies and standards and staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends. A demonstrated history of success and in-depth understanding of enterprise networks is crucial, encompassing the management of WAN, SD-WAN, Ethernet/MPLS, VPN, VoIP, and UCaaS, among other technologies. The right candidate will have strong Fortinet/Juniper connectivity skills and a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise networks . A genuine passion for solving problems and overcoming challenges is critical to this role. Connectivity Solution Architect

The Platform Services and Build department are responsible for the architectural design, engineering and ongoing maintenance of our Data Centres, Core Network, Enterprise Cloud Platform, Unified Communication / Voice products and revenue. The Network Platform Engineers at Six Degrees are responsible for the design, implementation, and operational preparedness of the core network, encompassing all connectivity products offered. Their duties involve recommending and upgrading both software and hardware, conducting tests, creating templates, documenting new features, and evaluating existing features to ensure adherence to best practices. The scope will also include the identification and resolution of issues that affect the entire platform, rather than those limited to individual devices, circuits, or customers. This will involve collaboration with vendors to replicate problems, as well as testing and implementing solutions. Additionally, the team offers support to the Product team by assisting in the establishment of standard equipment builds, acceptable software versions, and template configurations. Our Network Platform Engineers collaborate closely with the internal systems and transformation teams to guarantee that all core networks and products are accurately represented and monitored within the systems. Additionally, the role involves streamlining legacy network support systems, including monitoring, DNS, and TACACS, either by migrating to centralized corporate platforms or facilitating a transition to standardized IT patching and monitoring solutions. Candidates should be able to demonstrate extensive experience and familiarity with Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto platforms, alongside with a proven track record in configuring, provisioning, and troubleshooting a diverse range of technologies.
