TeacherActive is one of the largest education recruitment agencies in the UK, supplying education and care staff to over 3,600 schools and educational/care settings across England and Wales.

We are experts at what we do, and our sales and support team provide schools, colleges, nurseries, early years, SEND and residential settings with well-rounded staffing and support services.

We pride ourselves on our innovative service, from staffing, training and upskilling to day-to-day supply and permanent placements, along with bespoke services for each setting.

Dedicated consultants, dedicated service

Our consultants are experts in their field, with extensive knowledge of their local area. Their job is to find out the skills and passions of their educational staff while resolving any challenges their clients may face, finding the perfect match for both that enhances learning experiences. Through market-leading training and access to great software, we can deliver thousands of jobs to educators while offering a detailed service to clients.

Through our unique diversity & inclusion committee Empower, we facilitate policy and company culture improvements, host informative sessions on D&I topics and host company events to recognise and celebrate our diverse workforce. We are a Disability Confident Employer and have trained Mental Health Workplace Responders to support our teams.
Giving back is at our core and we fundraise for several charities. Last academic year we donated over £28,000, including a charity that provides green spaces for schools and communities. Team members were able to join in and build a sensory garden for one of our schools.

The tools to help you succeed

From school doors to office walls, we strive to continue to develop, train and upskill our staff. For our internal staff, we have market-leading training and development, from joining The Academy at your induction to taking part in our bespoke Leadership Development Group and Senior Leadership Summits. These are designed to develop exceptional leaders who go on to help their teams be the best they can be, made possible through our extensive recruitment experience.

For the educators we work with, we have a bespoke platform called My-Progression. My-Progression delivers CPD (Continuing Professional Development) videos on YouTube, covering everything from classroom planning and behaviour management to CV writing and job interview tips.
