What you’ll learn:

This course explores core philosophical concepts, divided into five key units:

  • Epistemology – What is knowledge? Examining perception, realism, and rationalism
  • Moral Philosophy – Ethical theories including utilitarianism, Kantian ethics, and virtue ethics
  • Metaphysics of God – Arguments for and against God's existence, religious language, and theological debates
  • Metaphysics of Mind – Theories of consciousness, the relationship between mind and body
  • Exam Preparation – Assessment strategies, practice exercises, and revision techniques

Assessment:

Students will complete two written exams:
