hi i havnt used photoshop for 7 years , what is the easiest way to get photoshop on your laptop? will i need this before i start the course?

Answer:

Any Adobe PhotoShop training would ideally require access to a working version; so you can work along with the demonstrations and practice. If you're a full time student, then Adobe offer free student licenses, otherwise you'd need to purchase a version. If you'll be using this at work, then I'd presume you'd have access there. You can get second-hand older versions on ebay etc, or alternatively subscribe to the Adobe monthly license program.

Once the course is completed, what is the best version of Photoshop to use?

Answer:

The simple answer is the one you have access to! The most recent version is CC (Creative Cloud), but many people still use CS5-6. Each version adds a few features, but a graphic designer could comfortably use a much older version.

Absolutely... It contains a bunch of courses starting from the absolute basics, and builds towards the Adobe ACE exams, as well as covering a bunch of areas on good design.
