Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is responsible for making change happen at work.
You may find yourself as the sponsor of the change because of its importance in helping you achieve your objectives. You want to be successful in your role so you are keen to champion and promote the need for the change. You provide authority and decision making and commit resources.
- Sponsors can hold senior management positions where the change initiative is core to achieving the strategic objectives of the organisation.
- Sponsors can come from the project management discipline, responsible for large programs of work, of which this initiative is an essential contributor, creating the drive to support it.
- Sponsors can hold line management roles, where new ways of working are critical to achieving departmental objectives.
Alternatively you may be taking a hands on coordination role, bringing together all of the resources to deliver the tangible change and to create the new ways of working.
Coordinators can come from the change management profession, where you have studied how to manage change, but now want to understand how to plan and implement change using Agile concepts.
Coordinators can come from line management, where you have a day to day responsibility for managing a team who deliver the products and services of your organisation. In addition to this role, you are responsible for adapting how you and your team work, implementing new ways of working. You are interested in learning techniques and practical ideas for how to make this happen.
Finally you might be one of those who is being asked to work differently, abandoning existing habits and routines and replacing them with a new set of tasks and activities. You are interested in how to organise your thoughts and how to plan and manage the adoption of new ways of working.
Requirements
There are no pre-requisites to get the most out of this course. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to practice new techniques.

Understanding how to manage change, and having the skills and techniques to quickly know how to get started and what to do is an essential for all management roles. Whilst this course will specifically help those in project and change management roles to develop their career, it is also valuable for line managers to build their skills in this sought after profession.
