You can progress through the course at your own pace. If you need to leave the course, it will remember where you left off, so when you return there is no need to repeat steps. We often include external links, videos, webpages, downloads, which provide excellent resource files.
At the end of each lesson is a knowledge checkpoint, you will need to achieve more than 75% to pass the lesson, which then unlocks the following lesson. Upon completion of the final lesson your CPD certificate will be unlocked. You can save this as a PDF to your computer or simply print it off.

The Independent Asbestos Training Providers website only lists asbestos training providers that have submitted documentary evidence confirming their compliance with the regulations, including independent external audits where necessary. The details of these audits are included with the listings, for our clients to check should they so wish.
Who is this course for?
If you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.
Asbestos awareness training should be given to employees whose work could foreseeably disturb the fabric of a building and expose them to asbestos or who supervise or influence the work.
In particular, it should be given to those workers in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades where it is foreseeable that ACMs may become exposed during their work.
Requirements
No prior knowledge is required.
