British Awarding Association awarding body
What we're all about
BAA is recognised by the UK government (Ofqual) as an awarding organisation offering regulated qualifications providing a wide variety of qualifications in a diverse range of subject areas to centres whose customers are internationally-focused aspiring professionals who wish to enhance their global career prospects. BAA was established in 2010 as a relatively specialist awarding body, providing qualifications designed to meet identified demand for qualifications, particularly within the legal services sector.
BAA’s purpose from the outset was to create unique packages for intelligent, ambitious achievers who are highly aware of the benefits of a high quality educational experience and its strategic advantages. Consistent communication with clients created a unique professional framework, as we asked: “What are our clients looking for in their personal and professional lives that will set them apart from the average, give them a competitive advantage, as well as an incomparable character building life experience?”
Thus, our products are the result of continuously listening to and meeting the needs of a generation of self-aware, modern-minded individuals who are seeking something special in their quest to enhance their global career profiles. Now, following a strategic review of BAA's business model, we have substantially strengthened our management team and invested in additional resources, enabling us to expand our product portfolio to incorporate a wide range of qualifications requested by centres whose learners are seeking enhanced professional and personal development opportunities as a result of their studies.
The BAA qualifications portfolio encompasses a range of programmes which meet modern education requirements and can be taught by centres up to and including university level.
