Develop the skills needed and prepare for a successful career in the Care Sector with the Care Skills Course - whether or not you're already working in the care industry. Maybe you are an experienced health care worker caring for clients or patients in a work environment. Alternatively, you may be new to the Industry or considering a career in Care. Whatever your background or experience, we believe that this learning programme will assist you with your personal development.

The Care Skills course will provide you with an understanding of the various skills needed to be effective in a nursing or residential home position. The course will look at nutrition, communication, hygiene and other key areas of the care and nursing profession.

You will also learn about the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England.

The Certificate in Care Skills is ideal for individuals engaged within either a nursing or residential care environment but is also ideal to gain more knowledge about this subject or use as a stepping stone for a career change.

This course has been endorsed under the NCFE Customised Qualifications. This means that NCC Home Learning has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria.
