We have five Career Development courses available in this series that focus on:
- Overcoming workplace barriers
- Assertiveness skills
- Productive meetings in half the time
- Conflict management
- Moving up the corporate ladder
Each course averages 15 minutes to complete with a post assessment included for each course. The Application Activity forms will allow the participant to apply the learnings in their own scenario and environment.
Learning Outcomes:
On completion of this course/article candidates will be able to:
- Overcome internal and external barriers to achievement, Create positive game plans for career success.
- Identify the three components of interpersonal communication, Describe the benefits of assertiveness, Explain verbal, vocal, and visual language and behaviours.
- Apply the four reasons for holding a meeting, identify who should attend, Prepare an effective agenda, Implement time-saving tips for getting results in half the time.
- Explain the root cause of all conflict, Apply five conflict management strategies, Implement steps to manage or resolve conflict, Apply effective steps for conducting difficult conversations.
- Apply on-going strategies for becoming promotable, Build awareness of five possible career detours or paths, Package your skills for promotion
