Description
The Level 3 CIPD Foundation Certificate is the perfect entry point into the People Profession and takes, on average, 7 to 9 months to complete.
This course will introduce you to a wide range of relevant knowledge and expertise in Human Resources and Learning & Development.
It consists of 4 core units aligned to the Foundation level of the CIPD Profession Map, so you can be sure that everything you learn will be useful, relevant, and respected at work:
- Business culture and change in context
- Principles of analytics
- Core behaviours for people professionals
- Essentials of people practice
Assessments
You'll complete written assignments for each module and submit them online to be marked by our assessors and moderated by CIPD.
Who is this course for?
The CIPD Level 3 Certificate is right for you if you’re new to the people profession and are aiming for an entry-level HR or L&D role. That could include positions like:
- People & Culture Assistant
- HR Assistant
- L&D/Training Assistant
- HR Administrator
If you already have some experience and are looking for a more advanced role, take a look at the Associate Diploma in either People Management or Organisational L&D.
Requirements
As the CIPD Level 3 Certificate is designed for newcomers to the people profession, you don't need any previous HR or L&D experience to get started, and there are no formal entry requirements.
As long as you're 18+ and have good literacy and numeracy skills, you're good to go.
Career path
After successfully completing your CIPD Level 3 Certificate, you may take on an assistant-level role or you may want to continue studying with the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in either People Management or Organisational L&D, designed to help you move into managerial roles.
