A more extensive qualification, the Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring gives you a broader knowledge of coaching and mentoring skills, focusing on coaching and mentoring relationships, operational processes and evaluation techniques.

You must complete any combination of units to a minimum of 13 credits. The minimum total qualification time is 130 hours, including 50 guided learning hours. Typical units include:

Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however you will need to have a good understanding of the English language and writing.

Ideally you need to be working within an organisation or role where you can demonstrate skills and apply knowledge. Alternatively, you could draw on previous experience within an organisation or use an organisation you are familiar with. Armed Forces service is ideal to meet many of these requirements.

You must be at least 16 years of age to enrol on this course.
