What happens on the day?
  • Our venue opens at 08:30 AM, and the training starts at 09:00 AM. Latecomers will be turned away.
  • Participants sign in and get their ID verified (please bring a photo ID).
  • Complimentary refreshments provided, i.e. tea, coffee and biscuits
  • This mandatory training course includes practical exercises, so please wear comfortable footwear and clothing.
  • All delegates are expected to participate in group activities throughout the session.

CPD hours & NMC revalidation

The Mandatory Training Group’s CSTF One-Day Mandatory & Statutory Practical Refresher Training provides registered nurses with participatory hours (7.5 hours) towards their NMC Revalidation.

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) introduced Revalidation' in April 2016. One requirement is that nurses show evidence of 35 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) over a 3-year period. 20 of the 35 CPD hours must be participatory, i.e., any learning time the registered nurse interacts with others.
