- Explain how best practice respects the service users'/patients' beliefs, culture, values and preferences
- Recognise how prejudice, discrimination, stereotyping and labelling can adversely affect service users
- Take responsibility for accessing the equal opportunities policy, harassment policy and whistle blowing policy if required
