Overview

Be confident in supporting a colleague's or friend's mental health and having supportive wellbeing conversations. Achieve a First Aid Award Level 3 in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health.

This accredited two-day course will provide delegates an understanding of the factors that affect wellbeing and mental health. On completion of the course, delegates will gain the skills to recognise the signs of mental illness including stress and anxiety. They will then feel confident in undertaking discrete conversations with individuals and signposting them to the appropriate services.

Assessment

To receive accreditation, delegates must complete a short multiple choice exam, in class on the second day of the course.

On completion of this course, delegates will receive an accredited certificate in First Aid Award Level 3 in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health.
