Overview

The Food Safety Level 2 course will give food handlers the legally required certification to work in the catering sector.

The course covers the essential aspects of food hygiene and safety during all stages of food handling, so that you can minimise food safety hazards and ensure that the food you work with remains safe for customers to eat. You will also learn about the legal responsibilities of working with food and how to comply with the law.

Format

The course is presented as a slide show and the content is broken down into simple sections. At the end of each part there are some multiple-choice questions that allow you to test your knowledge before moving on to a new section. Upon completing the course you will need to take the Quiz, which consists of 30 multiple-choice questions. You will need to get a minimum of 21 questions right to pass the course and receive your certificate, which you will be able to download immediately in pdf format. Should you fail the quiz you can redo the course as many times as necessary.

Duration and Time Limit

The course takes approximately 2 – 3 hours to complete, although there is no time limit and you can do it in your own time and in stages.

Certificate

After passing the course you can immediately download your pdf certificate, which is fully accredited by ROSPA and endorsed by the Institute of Hospitality. The certificate will allow you to work with food anywhere in the EU.

Formato

El curso se presenta como una sucesión de Slides y el contenido está dividido en secciones simples. Al final de cada parte hay algunas preguntas de opción múltiple que permiten poner a prueba su conocimiento antes de pasar a una nueva sección. Al completar el curso deberá que tomar el cuestionario, que consta de 30 preguntas de opción múltiple. Tendrá que contestar correctamente un mínimo de 21 preguntas para aprobar el curso y recibir su certificado, que podrá descargar de inmediato en formato pdf. En caso de fallar en la prueba puede tomar nuevamente el curso las veces que sea necesario.

Duración y plazos

El curso dura aproximadamente 2 – 3 horas para completarse, aunque no hay límite de tiempo y usted puede hacerlo a su propio ritmo y en etapas.

Certificado

Después de aprobar el curso podrá descargar directamente su certificado en pdf, el cual está plenamente acreditado por ROSPA. El certificado le permitirá trabajar con alimentos en cualquier lugar de la UE.
