Ergonomics is a science which deals with people and their work; people are taken at priority level and workplaces are designed according to the capabilities and limitations of the people.

Poor worksite design causes fatigue, frustration and dissatisfaction level in workers. Ergonomics try to make sure that equipment, tasks, information, and environment must be suiting each worker.

It not only deals with physical problems but it also shows high concern with the psychological issues of the people. It is highly concerned with the health and safety of the workforce which is considered its top most priorities.

The unit seeks to deliver the guidance about ergonomics and describes the policy statement for internet/intranet browser(s) and system usage policies.

It also explains employee’s role and manager’s role including a look at the basic rules of etiquette.
