Assessing Risks

How we control risk in the workplace, reasonably practicable and the hierarchy of risk control.

Understanding Responsibilities

This module covers the main parts of criminal and civil law. Where each comes from and how it is used in health and safety. This module also introduces health and safety management systems.

Understanding Common Hazards

Covering the six groups and hazard and main workplace hazards. What they are, their potential affects and how they can be controlled.

Investigating Accidents

Learn key terminology around accident investigation and the process of investigation.

Measuring Performance

This module looks are how we can measure health and safety performance. Covering proactive and reactive measures.

IOSH Managing Safely course Assessment

As part of the IOSH Managing Safely course, you'll be required to complete an exam and a practical assessment.

Exam Format: Multiple-choice & short risk assessment project

  • The exam is features 30 with 60 marks available. Pass Mark: 36/60 (60%), this must be completed within 45 minutes.
  • Risk assessment project which will be carried out at your workplace. This must be completed within two weeks of completing the exam.

Basically anyone that might have some input into workplace safety. Or those looking to move into the world of health and safety.
