Description
Length of Course
A maximum of 2 years for completion of this IWFM qualification. Learners must complete all learning and assessment, and have their final achievement verified by IWFM within the two-year registration period. To enable timely completion of the qualification, the final unit assignment must be submitted to PIP for marking no less than two calendar months before the expiry date. If the final unit is submitted late, and the registration expires before the final unit is verified by IWFM, the learner will be required to pay an additional fee.
Course Information
Candidates will complete five IWFM mandatory units and specified additional units to make 48 credits.

FM5.01 – Facilities management development and trends (6 credits) MANDATORY
FM5.02 – Organisational and facilities management strategy (6 credits) MANDATORY
FM5.03 – Managing people in facilities management (8 credits) MANDATORY
FM5.04 – Risk management in facilities management (6 credits) MANDATORY
FM5.05 – Financial management in facilities management (6 credits) MANDATORY
FM5.07 – Managing health and safety in facilities management (6 credits)
FM5.13 – Managing relationships with suppliers and specialists in facilities management (6 credits)
FM5.19 – Sustainability and environmental management and the impact on facilities management (4 credits)
Assessment
All our IWFM Facilities Management courses are structured to offer distance, blended and tutor-led instruction and facilitation. Assessments are measured against clear Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria specified by IWFM
Who is this course for?
This Level 5 qualification is typically for those working at a senior management level who are responsible for more specialised and complex functions at strategic level. They are, however also suitable for those aspiring to these roles and looking to develop themselves.
Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, but learners will normally have been working or had experience in the field of facilities management at high-level.
Validity of Award
This qualification does not expire.
Career path
With experience you may be able to progress to senior or regional manager roles.
