Method of Assessment
Each module is assessed according to learning outcomes. Learners must provide proof of skill level or competence to meet all the learning outcomes for each required unit. Teachers will create activities to cover all the learning outcomes which will become a part of learners’ e Candidate Assessment Record (CAR).
Certification
Once you complete the course assessment and all modules, you will receive a certificate in Level 1 Award in British Sign Language.

Access Duration
You will have 12 months access to your online learning portal from the date you join the course. The course is self-paced; you can complete it in stages by revisiting lectures at your own schedule.

Mario Costi is a British Sign Language Tutor in the United Kingdom. Mario has experience working as a deaf Presenter at ITV SignPost presenting Sports News for the channel. He was a BSL Teacher at City Lit and Frank Barns School for Deaf Children. He has a wealth of skills and knowledge in British Sign Language training and enjoys teaching students this course.
