Description
Once learners enrol, they are issued their login details and welcome email - providing them with access to learning resources, assignments and documentation. For the observation assessment, learners will need to submit documented evidence (using our provided witness statement forms) to the online portal that you will have 24/7 access to. Then a qualified assessor will review the learners work and provide feedback as required. Once all assessments are passed, work is submitted to the awarding body to determine whether the learner is awarded the nationally recognised Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) qualification.
The three units that all learners must complete to gain this qualification are:
- Understanding the principles and practices of assessment
- Assess occupational competence in the work environment
- Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding

Questions and answers
Hi,is this course full online? Will certificate be provided at the end and is it internationally recognized? Thank you
Answer:Hi Orkhan. The course is all online based apart from the workplace observation requirements. There are three professional discussions and two observation requirements, where you will need to conduct practical sessions to demonstrate the criteria. The certificate is provided upon completion and is internationally recognised as a fully accredited British qualification regulated by OFQUAL.
This was helpful. Can unit 2 be a recorded video of an assessment taking place in a classroom with the learner? Can the assessment evidence be a Q&A with the learner?
Answer:Hi Wes, unfortunately we can't accept recordings for observations. This must be done with a qualified assessor, who will complete a witness statement form on your behalf. The observation requires you to assess the work of 2 learners using 2 different assessment methods.
This was helpful.Asked on wrong course earlier! How many students are needed to complete this course please. My setting is very small. Thankyou
Answer:Hi HFM, for this course we recommend learners have access too 2 different learners for 2 different types of assessment. For our course this would be occupational competence and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding. Thank you.
