Level 3: Award in Assessing Vocational Related Achievement qualification is intended for those who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment. The course will provide you with the opportunity to develop and improve your practice, as well as achieving a recognised qualification at the same time. It has been developed by LLUK to replace the Assessor and Verifier (A&V) units and is valid if you want to work in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Depending on your current role, you can pick and choose the units that you require.

Description
Introduction:
This assessor qualification is intended for people who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a classroom, workshop, or any training environment). It includes the following assessment methods: Assessments of the learner in simulated environments, Skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and recognizing prior learning. This Vocational level consists of the following 2 Unit:
Unit 1: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment D/601/5313
Unit 3: Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding F/601/5319
Please note: Unit 1 will give you comprehensive understanding of assessment however if you wish to achieve full Assessor qualification (Assessor status) you need to do unit 1 and Unit 2 or Unit 3.
You don’t have to do all 3 units to achieve the full qualification, selecting the unit will be depend on the nature of the job you do (Current profession) for example: If you work as a practitioner like assess the demonstration of competence in a work environment then you need to do competence level Unit 1 and Unit 2.
Online / Distance Learning Course:
A great option for anyone wishing to get qualified using our self study method with the option to study from anywhere at anytime with our tutor support and you will be able to complete the course without travelling to our centre. You will be given full access to the Online Portal upon booking the course.
Live Zoom Class Course:
Live Zoom / Webinar class duration is for 1 day from 10am - 5pm and we have this session almost every week. After 1 days session you will be given 4 months to complete the coursework after the live training session. However if you finish earlier, you will be awarded early. During this time one of our qualified tutor will give you support if you need any.

This qualification will train assessors and those individuals that need to carry out assessment in the classroom or work environment. This course is suited to individuals that support learners through assessment & training. This qualification is suitable for industry sectors such as Hairdressing, Beauty Industry & Make Up, Construction, Electrical industry, Food Safety, Early years, Apprenticeships, Health & Social Care and Educational Sectors. Requirements
There are no formal requirements for this course, however, candidates should be working in, or working towards a role in quality assurance. The theory based qualifications provide a good base for those candidates who are trying to enter into quality assurance roles. To undertake the full Award candidates are required to have access to two learners.
