Description

This qualification is for learners who wish to develop the skills and knowledge of the role of a teaching assistant, classroom assistant or support worker in a school environment to bring the transferrable, life and teaching skills learned while serving in the Armed Forces.

This course comprises of eleven units. There is a requirement to have a placement within a school over the duration of this qualification.

This is a nationally recognised qualification and the requirement to work as a TA in schools.

This qualification is delivered on our online platform with full tutor support. Our courses are designed to be convenient and intuitive and delivered as part of a holistic approach that is supported by our awarding bodies.

A placement within a classroom setting is required for the duration of this qualification.

Total Qualification Time is comprised of GLH and an estimate of the number of hours a learner is likely to spend in preparation, study or any other learning including assessment, which takes place as directed by, but not under the supervision of a lecturer, supervisor or tutor.

The credit value, where given for qualification, is determined by TQT, as one credit corresponds to 10 hours of learning.

The TQT for this award is 320 hours and 180 Guided Learning Hours.
