Description

This Level 3 qualification provides learners with a range of essential health and safety knowledge and competence, including how to comply with health and safety requirements in the workplace, identify and reduce risks and hazards, control operations safely and conduct risk assessments of a workplace.

This qualification is assessed via a portfolio of evidence.

Who is this course for?

This Level 3 qualification is primarily for 18+ learners who want to develop and gain formal knowledge of their knowledge, understanding and competence in working as a health and safety practitioner.

Requirements

- Age: 18+

- UNEMPLOYED or earning less than London Living Wage of £13.15 per hour (you have to provide proof of unemployment or wage to qualify, i.e. Universal Credit statement or payslip)

- Be a resident in London (you have to supply proof of residential address)

- Have the right to live and work in the UK

- Have a valid ID (i.e. passport, birth certificate, biometric resident card)

- There are no formal entry requirements.

- The qualification can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
