Description

Sports Massage has been scientifically proven to help in the treatment and prevention of injuries, aid in pain relief, inflammation, and tissue dysfunction, and will help promote recovery and improve sports performance. Sports Massage isn't solely for athletes or sportspeople, it can be used for everyone, it can help with circulation, and has also been proven to help in the relief of stress and anxiety.

Along with a portfolio assessment, there are two options for the practical training and assessment days. We have regular in-person training and assessment days, but due to the lockdown students have the choice of using our live Zoom training and assessment days, given over 2 days, via Zoom, training on one day with the practical assessment the following day, so students can be confident in knowing they can complete their training and assessments from the safety of their own home. This option is also cheaper than the regular option.

Face-to-Face: (Most Popular Option) Has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time and want face-to-face instruction at a chosen location local to them. The qualification is assessed by completing a coursework portfolio and a face-to-face practical assessment. Once you have completed your coursework using our interactive E-learning platform you will be invited to attend a practical weekend. A highly skilled tutor will then teach you all the skills, techniques, and applications to enable you to be a successful sports massage therapist. You will complete your practical assessment on the same weekend.

Online Distance Learning: This has been designed for students who want the flexibility to study in their own time, you can qualify in as little as 8 weeks. The qualification is assessed by completing a coursework portfolio and practical video assessments. The coursework portfolio is completed using our interactive e-learning platform. The practical assessment is completed by attending 16 hours of live virtual teaching delivered via zoom with our team of expert tutors. You would then be required to submit a video of your practical assessment.
