Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET Course is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive teaching sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback. This qualification is delivered through our online platform with full tutor support throughout the course. The course materials can be accessed from anywhere through the student portal. Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET Course is designed to develop the candidate's ability to:

  • Define basic principles of teaching and learning in relation to teaching/training
  • Identify learners’ needs, backgrounds and aspirations
  • Develop their skills in devising programmes and schemes of work
  • Demonstrate in planning, delivery and evaluation a regard for equal opportunities and health and safety legislation
  • Adopt a systematic approach to planning learning sessions by reference to a variety of methods, and to develop innovation in their teaching/training
  • Design, make and use a range of teaching and learning materials, using their own creative and information technology skills
  • Apply communication skills in teaching and training
  • Design and apply appropriate means of assessing their own learners

Online / Distance Learning Course:
This qualification is delivered through our online based learning platform or classroom based with full tutor support throughout the course. The course materials can be accessed from anywhere through our student's portal. Our courses are designed to be convenient and intuitive and delivered as part of a holistic approach. Micro teaching is an activity where candidates prepare and deliver a short teaching and learning session to their peers. You can do this 15-30 min Micro-Teach from home, send it to us and will get assessed.

The course is done at your own pace with a tutor's guidance. Once you book the course, the Student Portal access would be sent out to you and you will be given up to 4 months to complete the course. However if you finish earlier, you will be awarded early as long as you meet the required standard, you do not need to wait for 16 weeks.

Face to Face or Live Zoom Classroom Course:
Face to Face or live Zoom / Webinar class duration is for 3 days from 10am - 5pm and we have this session every week. You will be given 3 weeks to complete the coursework after the classroom session. However if you finish earlier, you will be awarded early. During this time one of our qualified tutor will give you support if you need any.

Course Assessment:
There is no formal examination is required, but at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio via email or by post to our head office. It takes 7-10 days to get marked/assessment of your portfolio and get the result/certificate.
