This course will teach you all the skills and techniques required to take the stress out of minute taking.
These courses have been created to bring your minute taking and note taking skills into the 21st Century, to ensure you’re up to date with the latest technology and best practice guidelines.

1. Speedwriting
Additional activity focussed on developing notetaking skills by learning the BakerWrite Speedwriting system to accurately record the spoken word at speeds over 40 words per minute.
2. Effective Online Communication
Additional activity focussed on online communication to reflect the number of meeting activities being conducted online through platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex.
This programme has 8 to 20 hours of learning activity with flexible study options over 3 months to fit with your lifestyle.

Who is this course for?
Administrators, Secretaries, Personal Assistants and Exec Assistants with responsibilities for accurately capturing meeting minutes.
Requirements
There are no prerequisites for joining this course.
Ability to touch type and knowledge of Microsoft Word is useful for turning meeting notes into meeting minutes ready for distribution.
