About This Course
Begin your journey to becoming an integral part of the early years education workforce with this online NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator) course.
On completion of this course, learners will be eligible for inclusion in the staff-to-child ratio at level 3.
This course explores fostering a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and physical activity, enhancing children’s communication abilities, and understanding crucial aspects of safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
While the course primarily focuses on acquiring knowledge and practical experience in working with children aged 0 to 5, learners will also have the opportunity to gain insights into working with children aged 5 to 7.

Assessment
This course is assessed using a series of assignments that are designed to test your knowledge of the course materials. You’ll access your learning materials and submit your work online using our learner management system. Your expert assessor will mark your work and guide you throughout the programme.
You will need to complete a work placement of at least 350 hours in order to gain your qualification. Your placement can be paid or voluntary, and must be completed in a childcare setting, working with children aged 0-5 years old.
Awarding Body
Once you successfully complete the course, you will obtain a certification in Working in the Early Years Sector (Early Years Educator) at NCFE CACHE Level 3. You will receive a certificate as recognition of your achievement.

Requirements
Whilst no previous qualifications are needed to enrol or complete this course, to be counted in the staff-to-child ratio within a childcare setting, you must possess a GCSE or Level 2 in English and Maths (also available from Association of Learning)
