Our Principles of Cyber Security course is suitable for anyone who is looking to develop an understanding of cyber security within the workplace. Cyber security awareness is essential in our personal lives as well as at work. With our increasing dependence on cyberspace, the digital revolution also brings new risks that we need to understand and address. Cyber security training has never been more important.
Cyber security breaches and attacks remain a common threat. Last year, cyber crime led to approximately 2.39 million incidents and approximately 49,000 cases of fraud across all UK businesses. Last year, cyber crime affected 11% of businesses and 8% of charities!

The target learner for this qualification will be an individual looking to gain a greater understanding or build upon their existing knowledge of Cyber Security issues.
You must live in one of the following counties to receive funding for the course from the Department of Education.
This course will allow individuals to study the subject at a higher level and/or seek employment in a Cyber Security related role.
