Jamie asked:

Good Morning, Hope you are well. Do you accept student finance? Can you apply for QTS on completion? Best wishes, Jamie

Answer:

Morning Jamie We don’t have student finance on this course as we are a private college and deliver this course via distance learning. The fees is £1500 and can be paid in 3 instalment of £500 each every 45 days. Although it is a fairly new introduction by othm am not sure on its acceptability for QTS status. For QTS we teach and deliver NCFE level 5 diploma in education and training and that is acceptable for QTS status. The same fees and condition will apply. Teaching observations are required

The course is designed for learners who are aspiring to be teachers. There are two mandatory requirements to be fulfilled for the course. 1. Teaching Observations 2. Having prior qualifications at level 3 in teaching-related discipline Ideally, if you are abroad, the teaching observation would be done by a QTLS qualified teacher. A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
