The City & Guilds 2393-10 qualification is an industry-standard for anyone looking to show knowledge and understanding in their obligations electrically within a dwelling. Also known as Part P of the Building Regulations.

TRAINING MATERIALS

The 2393-10 qualification by City & Guilds is an open-book exam. This means that candidates will be required to purchase and bring to the exam a copy of The Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations – it is recommended this is updated to the latest version of the 18th edition wiring regulations.

FINAL EXAM.

For your final City & Guilds exam, you will undertake a 40-minute multiple-choice test online. The pass mark is 60%. This equals answering 12 questions, or more, correctly out of 20.

Hi Phil, course material is self-study and the final exam can be taken at home with City & Guilds remotely invigilating you using your web camera, certificates are then emailed and posted to you. No need to come to a centre..Thx, Simon

Hi Williams, open book final exam means you can use the publication the course/exam is based on in the final exam. For the Part P the book you can use is the Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations. For the ECS card, you need to complete an approved ECS Health & Safety Course.
