This Personal effectiveness training will help you look at the things that get in the way of confident behaviour and give you some practical tips and tools that you can take away and start to use straight away.

Personal Effectiveness Training Courses in London
Over the two-days our personal effectiveness training courses will cover:
- basic assertiveness: the ideas behind assertive behaviour and how you can apply them to your own situations
- assertiveness in dealing with senior managers and learning to say 'no'
- communicating in an assertive way leaving a positive impression with the people you meet
- confidence on the telephone: how to make sure you make your point on the phone, how to ask for what you want, how to finish a phone call when you want to without being rude
- prioritising your workload
- being more confident in meetings: how to get your point across, how to differ with someone else’s point without being or seeming aggressive
- how to chair a meeting
- dealing with difficult meeting participants
- speaking up: how to give a talk or a presentation, overcoming nerves, organising what you have to say, tricks for dealing with your voice and being heard
- giving talks or presentations, either one:one or to a large group
- negotiation skills: asking for what you want: how to decide what you really want and what you’ll settle for, how to ask for things successfully, how to negotiate with someone and how to finish a negotiation and close a deal
- difficult messages: what to do when you need to tell someone something they don’t want to hear
- representing your organisation
- a year of free support
Every participant goes away with a personal action plan to put into effect the next day.
