Description
COMPLIANCE
The legal duty of care employers owe to staff extends to all work activities, including driving for work. Most importantly, providing staff who drive with appropriate information and training on driving risks helps protect their safety and wellbeing, and that of other road users. But it also helps organisations to avoid criminal and civil legal sanctions - and protect their reputation - should something go wrong.
WINTER HAZARDS
Safer Driving in Winter uses a risk-based approach to consider hazards including poor weather conditions and low temperatures.
VICKY LOVELL
One of the UK’s most respected driving safety experts with over thirty years’ experience, Vicky acted as on-screen driver safety expert on CBBC’s popular Driving Academy programme, and in 2012 was a member of the team who won the prestigious Prince Michael International Award for Driver Education. Through her company Arrive Alive Ltd, Vicky also provides face-to-face and in-car safety training.
