For the Special Educational Needs Level 3 course you will cover the following content:-
Unit 1: Working with children with special educational needs
Unit 2: Understanding and promoting children's development
Unit 3: Speech, language and communication (SLC) difficulties
Unit 4: Social, emotional and behavioural (SEB) difficulties
Unit 5: Chronic illnesses and physical disabilities
Unit 6: Assessment and planning to meet individual needs
You must successfully complete a series of assignments. Once all assignments and activities have been completed satisfactorily, you will then be awarded your certificate. The good news is, there is no final exam.
The completion of this course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification, but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills towards regulated qualifications in the future. The unit summary can be used as evidence towards your Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this sector.
