Understanding Afro Hair:
- Basics of Afro-textured hair care and preparation.
- Tools and products essential for braiding.
- Product knowledge.
- Techniques for detangling and sectioning Afro hair.
- Knnowledge and different types of extensions with their uses.
- Measuring and prepping extensions for use.
Essential Braiding Techniques:
- Use proper hand coordination, positioning/placement, and movement techniques. (HCP&M).
- Plaiting and cornrowing basics.
- How to grip and braid with precision.
- Managing tension to ensure client comfort.

- BRAIDS - regular,knotless, bohemian, godess and passion as well learning the feed-in technique for elongation.
- TWISTS - senegalese, spring, afro kiny combined with bohemian styles
- FAUX LOCS - butterfly, smooth, distressed and bohemian faux locs.
Advanced Techniques: layering braids for volume and texture, incorporating synthetic and human hair extensions, easier way of preparing extensions with a hackling tool.
Professional Braiding Skills: client consultation and hair profile building, proper hygiene and scalp care during and after braiding, time management and efficiency for professional braiding.

Questions and answers
I am very interested in doing this course but I cannot make it on Saturdays. Can I do it Monday to Friday or Sunday?
Answer:Hello Brenda, We have Group Sessions on Saturdays so the price is cheaper however if you wanted between Mondays to Fridays the price for 3hours that is 10:30am to 1:30pm would be £35 x3 = £105 -- We would give you a discount for £100 on any week day you choose. Our centre is being refurbish so classes start from Monday 21st October, 2024

Answer:Hello Mems, You can book for the Saturdays classes any Saturday at our Reed course and we would be alerted otherwise you can go to google and look for our website and book there and pay for the classes. hope to hear from you soon. The last classes before Christmas is this Saturday 21/12/24 . Then we will close for Christmas till New Year.

Course:Braids, Twists and Locs for Afro Hair Saturdays 10:30am - 1:30pm Yes , Sandra , There is only one centre at the moment to attend above course: Venue: 28 Church End, Hendon. London.NW4 4JX . By Middlesex University in Hendon. We had a refurbishment done to our Centre so we now start Classes from Saturday 23rd November, 2024.
