Overview
Great leadership is essentially “an inside job” and self-awareness, self-management and personal development through action are key elements to inspire and achieve results through others.
The Leadership Laboratory will provide deep insights into the balancing act of the seemingly conflicting needs of a leader and allow emerging leaders to explore and develop the foundational knowledge, practical skills and behaviours to consistently perform and succeed in their leadership role.
Description
The Leadership Laboratory will provide Leaders with the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to lead themselves and their teams effectively in either their current or future roles.
It is a 7 -month programme that incorporates
- Powerful Leadership assessments – to gain deep personal insights into the paradoxes that leaders face
- A personalised development plan – to prioritise the actions and behaviours that will make the biggest difference to personal performance with coaching support
- 6 x 3-hour group workshops via zoom (monthly)
By the end of the programme Leaders will;
- Have expanded their self-awareness by completing a Harrison Assessment enabling understanding of how they stack up against the Emerging Leader Competencies, and have a clear understanding of their key leadership strengths, potential de railiers and development needs to perform in their current role
- Have created a personal development plan and be actively working towards the achievement of their goals
- Have enhanced their leadership skills and ability and better understand how their style is experienced by and impacts upon others
- Discover a range of leadership skills, knowledge, behaviours and techniques and know how to apply them
- Know how to adapt their own approach to different situations and challenges
- Be able to manage difficult and challenging conversations with team members more effectively
- Be better prepared for the next role
- Have access to their own online training platform with a choice of 10 courses
